The Ultraforce GS-4 G-seat produces realistic motion feedback to the user of a flight or racing simulation. Unlike other motion devices such as motion platforms or seat movers, the GS-4 can produce strong sustained motion feedback. Also, unlike most other motion simulators, the GS-4 responds to all up/down, side-to-side, and forward/backward G-forces that occur in the simulation. Almost any motion cue you feel in a real car or plane can be conveyed by a GS-4.

The concept behind the GS-4 is entirely different from that of a motion platform or seat mover.  A motion platform uses the pull of the earth's gravity to produce motion cues. Instead of relying on earth's gravity, the GS-4 is composed of movable panels that apply pressure directly to the body of the user. This localized pressure is much stronger than motion cues generated by the force of gravity.  The GS-4 concept also provides an advantage over seat movers because the user's body doesn't move relative to the controls or display.  The result is an experience of strong motion cues that produce a more realistic driving or flying experience.

Also, unlike other motion feedback systems, the GS-4 bundles incredible motion simulation capabilities into a small, affordable package that can be mounted into any existing racing or flight simulation cockpit.
